We also get rave reviews on our CHEESE DOG made with a european wiener from WINNIPEG OLD COUNTRY that is split and then grilled...yummy!

The Red Boot Drive Inn was opened by Dimetri James Karvelas in 1963. Offering up home-made burgers and specially seasoned fries called Karvys, it has become a staple of the community.
In March of 2008, Gord Picken returned to Winnipeg and bought the Red Boot. He had been a regular 30 years earlier when he pumped gas nearby. Making only minor changes to the menu, Gord has carried on Jim's dedication to the Red Boots patron's.
Today, all burgers are homemade using 100% pure beef with no additives. Fries are homemade and fresh cut every morning. All cooking is done using Trans-Fat Free Canola oil.
